  1. Love this article because it reminds me of my most successful teaching engagements. When I populated my presentations with personal stories I always received warm responses. The factual and professional content that I had “slaved” to achieve was overlooked. The story about my crazy mess up at a showing was the hit of the crowd. What keeps YOU interested in a presentation will also keep OTHERS listening and thinking, “I like this guy – he’s just like me. . . ” Thank you for the personal connection article. I will def buy the book. Now, if I can just find my mallet. . .
